Bomber Command Memorial

Dedicated to the members of the Royal Air Force’s Bomber Command who served in World War II, the Bomber Command Memorial stands as one of London’s significant wartime monuments. Unveiled in 2012, this open-air stone structure is located in Green Park and was designed by Liam O’Connor. At its heart, a bronze sculpture captures a group of pilots returning from their latest mission, offering a poignant reminder of their sacrifices. Visitors can walk through the memorial, reflecting on the historical context and the personal stories of those who fought.
