Oxford Botanic Garden

Founded in 1621, the Oxford Botanic Garden is the oldest in the UK and one of the world’s oldest scientific gardens. Nestled near Magdalen College, this 5-acre (2-hectare) site houses nearly 6,000 types of plants, making it a unique repository of biodiversity. Visitors can explore a diverse array of flora, from medicinal herbs to exotic species, all carefully curated within the garden’s historic walls.
