Perched on the edge of the historic town of Side, Turkey, and overlooking the Mediterranean, the grand Temple of Apollo dates back to the second century AD. Legend has it that the temple was a gift from Anthony to Cleopatra. Today, visitors can see five of its original Corinthian columns, which still stand tall against the seafront, offering a glimpse into the architectural grandeur of the ancient world. The temple’s location provides a stunning backdrop, making it one of the most strikingly situated ruins in the area.
