Jama Michalika

Established in 1895, Jama Michalika is one of Krakow’s oldest and most storied cafés. Before World War I, it was a favored gathering spot for artists, bohemians, and academics. The café became a symbol of the Zielony Balonik (Green Balloon) cabaret and the Young Poland artistic movement. Today, visitors can savor traditional Polish cuisine, admire the art nouveau décor, and enjoy folk shows, immersing themselves in a blend of history and culture.
