Gdańsk Zoo (Oliwa Zoo)

The Gdańsk Zoo, also known as Oliwa Zoo, is one of Poland’s largest and most popular attractions for families. Located in Gdansk, the zoo features spacious enclosures that house around 150 different species of wildlife. Visitors can observe a diverse range of animals, from penguins and lions to elephants and orangutans, as well as giraffes, hippos, and tigers. The zoo also showcases native Polish forest animals, providing a comprehensive view of both exotic and local fauna. In the summer, a petting zoo offers younger visitors a hands-on experience with some of the gentler animals.
