Loch Ard Gorge

Loch Ard Gorge, a highlight of Victoria’s Great Ocean Road, is a golden sand beach almost entirely encased by crumbling ochre cliffs that form a tear-shaped oceanic chasm. This site gained historical significance from the 1878 wreck of the Loch Ard, one of the most famous shipwrecks along the Shipwreck Coast.
