Founded in 1971, The Court Theatre is New Zealand’s largest theater company, staging approximately 19 productions annually, from serious drama to light-hearted comedy. Originally housed in the Arts Centre in the heart of Christchurch, the company relocated to a repurposed grain shed in the suburb of Addington following the 2011 Christchurch earthquake. Today, visitors can experience a diverse range of performances in this unique setting, which has been transformed into a vibrant and dynamic theatrical space.
