Entsuin Temple, located in Matsushima-machi near Sendai, was commissioned by a grieving father for his 19-year-old son, who was to become the third ruler of Sendai. Nestled in a serene setting, the temple features tranquil gardens that invite visitors to walk and explore quietly. Among its highlights is a matchmaking deity where visitors can inscribe their wishes. Additionally, there is an area for crafting prayer bead bracelets, and three restaurants offer dining options. Today, visitors can experience a blend of historical reverence and interactive cultural activities.
