The USS Liberty Wreck, also known as USAT Liberty, is Bali’s most popular dive site and a renowned destination for divers worldwide. Located just off the shore of Tulamben, near Amed, this shipwreck lies at a maximum depth of around 100 feet (30 meters), making it one of the easiest large wrecks to access. Divers can explore the wreck and encounter a vibrant array of marine life, including turtles and flashing clams, which have made the sunken vessel their home. The site offers a unique underwater experience, with the remnants of the ship providing a striking contrast to the colorful and diverse sea creatures that now inhabit it.
