Afareaitu Waterfalls

Nestled near the village of Afareaitu in French Polynesia, the Afareaitu Waterfalls are a natural wonder, consisting of two distinct falls. Each waterfall is fed by a different stream, with the Putoa Stream and the Vaioro Stream converging to create this picturesque setting. The larger of the two cascades plunges over 100 feet (30 meters) into a refreshing rock pool, inviting visitors to take a dip. Surrounded by lush, tropical vegetation, the area offers a serene and rejuvenating experience for those who venture to its waters.
