SnowCastle of Kemi

Each winter, the SnowCastle of Kemi rises from the Finnish landscape, a majestic fortress constructed entirely of snow and ice. This ephemeral structure, complete with a drawbridge, watchtowers, and ramparts adorned with Finnish flags, is rebuilt annually based on designs by renowned Finnish architects. Inside, visitors can explore a fully functional hotel, restaurant, and chapel, all crafted from the same icy materials. The castle’s transient nature and unique features offer a one-of-a-kind experience, inviting guests to immerse themselves in a world of frozen artistry.
