Founded by the Guilisasti family in 1986, Emiliana Organic Winery was a pioneer in Chile and one of the first globally to embrace organic wine production. Nestled in the heart of Chile’s wine country, the winery adopted sustainable practices to preserve the environment and enhance grape quality. Instead of pesticides, mobile chicken coops manage insect populations, and the estate also cultivates organic vegetables, honey, and olive oil for the community. Visitors can explore the vineyards, learning about soil and grape varieties, and observe the cellars where biodynamic fertilizers are stored. The experience culminates with a tasting of Emiliana wines, and upgraded tours offer the chance to pair wines with cheese and chocolate or even blend your own.
