Double Island Point

Double Island Point, a forested headland in Queensland’s Great Sandy National Park, is crowned with a lighthouse and flanked by a long, white sand spit. Accessible only by 4WD along the beach, the area offers a rugged and scenic escape. Visitors can hike or mountain bike through the lush surroundings, or explore the waters on a fishing trip. The lighthouse, standing sentinel over the coast, adds a touch of maritime history to the natural beauty.
