James Bond Island (Ko Khao Phing Kan)

James Bond Island, officially known as Ko Khao Phing Kan, gained international fame after its appearance in the 1974 James Bond film, The Man With the Golden Gun. Located off the coast of Phuket, Thailand, this striking formation features towering limestone cliffs and a 66-foot-tall (20-meter) islet called Ko Tapu. While boats are not permitted to approach the islands closely, visitors can still enjoy the dramatic scenery and explore the surrounding area, taking in the rugged beauty of the karst formations and the clear waters that surround them.
