Granite Gorge Nature Park

Nestled in the heart of Australia’s Cairns & the Tropical North, Granite Gorge Nature Park is a private reserve that captivates visitors with its unique rockscape of oddly-shaped boulders and deep, crocodile-free swimming holes. The park gained recognition in the mid-1990s when the Mareeba Rock Wallabies, a new and endangered species, were first identified here. Today, visitors can explore short nature trails, interact with these rare wallabies, and choose to stay overnight in cabins or at powered campsites, immersing themselves in the natural beauty of the region.
