Housed in a baroque warehouse, the oldest civil building in Alicante, the Alicante Museum of Contemporary Art (MACA) offers a rich collection of 20th-century artwork. The museum’s walls hold pieces by renowned artists such as Picasso, DalÃ, and Miró. A significant part of the collection comes from Eusebio Sempere, whose generous donation of his art was instrumental in the museum’s establishment in 1977. Visitors can explore a diverse array of modern and contemporary art, set against the historic backdrop of the converted warehouse.
