Changi Murals

During the Japanese occupation of World War II, British POW Stanley Warren was interred in a prison camp in the village of Changi. There, he painted five murals on the walls of St. Luke’s Chapel in Block 151 of the Roberts Barracks. These poignant murals, created under challenging circumstances, now have replicas on display at the Changi Museum and Chapel. Visitors can view these reproductions, which offer a glimpse into the history and resilience of those who were imprisoned during that time.
