Nestled in the heart of Mexico, the Punta Laguna Nature Reserve, also known as Otoch Ma’ax Yetel Kooh, spans an expansive 12,355 acres (5,000 hectares) of untamed jungle. This reserve offers a unique opportunity to observe the Yucatan’s diverse wildlife in its natural habitat. Home to more than 600 spider and howler monkeys, the reserve also shelters pumas, crocodiles, coatimundi, white-tailed deer, and a myriad of tropical birds. Visitors can explore the dense foliage and listen to the calls of the howler monkeys echoing through the trees, creating an immersive and authentic experience.
