Diego Rivera Mural (Exekatlkalli)

The Diego Rivera Mural adorns the exterior of Exekatlkalli, also known as La Casa de los Vientos, in Acapulco, Mexico. This was once the residence of the renowned Mexican artist Diego Rivera and his lover, Dolores Olmedo, where he spent the final years of his life. In 1956, Rivera created this striking mosaic sculpture, which features the Mesoamerican mythical serpent, Quetzalcoatl. Visitors today can admire the intricate details and vibrant colors of this significant artwork, set against the backdrop of the historic home.
