Nicknamed the ‘cathedral of lucha libre,’ Arena Mexico, located in Mexico City, is a large indoor venue centered around a raised square ring. Here, rudos (bad guys) and técnicos (good guys) engage in acrobatic and theatrical battles, vying for the audience’s approval. The arena is known for its garish costumes and over-the-top characters, creating an immersive and energetic atmosphere. Outside, vendors offer recreations of famous luchador masks, allowing visitors to show their support for their favorite wrestlers.
