The Monsopiad Cultural Village, located in Kota Kinabalu, Malaysia, honors the legendary Kadazan-Dusun warrior and headhunter, Monsopiad. This living museum offers a glimpse into the traditional lifestyles of the local community, with exhibits including skulls said to be from Monsopiad’s adversaries. Visitors can observe locals dressed in authentic attire performing daily tasks such as pounding rice and making rice wine. The village also hosts two dance performances each day, providing a dynamic and immersive experience of the region’s rich cultural heritage.
