Kuching Mosque (Masjid Bandaraya Kuching)

Kuching Mosque, also known as Masjid Bandaraya Kuching, stands as a prominent landmark on a low hill overlooking the Sarawak River. Its history traces back to at least 1840, though the current structure, with its rose-pink paint and gilded, Mughal-style onion domes, was built in 1968. For many years, it served as the state mosque of Sarawak. Today, visitors can admire its striking architecture and enjoy the serene views of the river from its elevated position.
