Bioparque Los Ocarros, located in Villavicencio, serves as a nature reserve dedicated to the conservation of the Orinoquia region’s flora and fauna. Spanning 14.3 acres, the biopark is a sanctuary for over 190 species and 1,900 specimens, including mammals, reptiles, birds, and fish. Many of these animals were rescued, adding to the park’s mission of protection and rehabilitation. Visitors can explore this diverse ecosystem, observing the variety of wildlife up close and learning about the importance of preserving natural habitats.
