Established in 2003, Gulf Islands National Park Reserve spans 8,896 acres of forested islands and marine habitats between Vancouver Island and the city of Vancouver. The park’s Mediterranean-like climate supports a rich variety of wildlife. Bald eagles, cormorants, and hawks can be seen soaring overhead, while orcas, porpoises, and seals frequent the waters.
