Kiama Blowhole

Located in Kiama, south of Sydney, the Kiama Blowhole is a natural wonder where the ocean’s force pushes water up through the rocks, creating a powerful spout. Known as ‘Kiarama-a’ in Aboriginal language, meaning ‘the noise of the sea,’ this blowhole is the largest of its kind in the world. Visitors can witness explosive jets of water soaring up to 80 feet (25 meters) into the air, providing a dramatic and awe-inspiring display of nature’s power. The site offers a unique opportunity to experience the raw energy of the ocean and the geological features that shape it.
