Henty Dunes

Rising from the coastline of western Tasmania, the Henty Dunes form a series of wind-sculpted pinnacles that stretch for 9 miles (15 km) along the shore. These soft, shapeshifting mounds, some reaching nearly 100 feet (30 meters) in height, offer sweeping views of the shoreline. Visitors can explore the dunes’ undulating landscape, where the ever-shifting sands create a dynamic and mesmerizing environment. The unique geography provides a striking contrast to the surrounding coastal scenery, making it a distinctive natural feature of the region.
