Ascending to an impressive 13,842 feet (4,220 meters), the route winds through 21 tunnels, crosses 29 bridges, and traverses 13 viaducts, offering passengers views of colorful rock formations. The journey’s highlight is the La Polvorilla viaduct, which spans a vast desert canyon, providing a breathtaking panorama. Today, visitors can experience this engineering marvel and the stunning natural landscapes it passes through.
