Tin Tin Straight Line (Recta de Tin Tin)

The Tin Tin Straight Line, or Recta de Tin Tin, is a nearly 11-mile (18 km) stretch of highway that cuts through the Calchaquí Valleys in Salta, Argentina. Originally laid out by the Incas, this poker-straight road now forms part of Route 33 and is flanked by cacti-dotted plains. As a highlight of any Salta road trip, it serves as the dramatic entryway to Los Cardones National Park.
