Via Sepulcral Romana

The Via Sepulcral Romana, also known as MUHBA Via Sepulcral Romana, is an ancient Roman burial ground that dates back to the era when Barcelona was known as Barcino. Uncovered during construction in the 1940s, this site features around 70 tombs left in the open air, creating a sunken garden in the center of a square. Visitors can explore this historic site and gain insight into the funerary practices and architectural styles of the Roman period, surrounded by the modern city.
