Table Mountain, rising to 3,563 feet (1,086 meters) above Cape Town, offers a panoramic view of the city, Robben Island, Camps Bay, and the Atlantic Seaboard. Visitors can reach the summit via two cable cars with rotating cabins, providing a scenic ascent without the need for strenuous hiking. At the top, a network of trails showcases the diverse geography of Table Mountain National Park. For the more adventurous, there’s the option to rappel from the upper cable station. On clear days, hikers can even catch a glimpse of the Indian Ocean at Muizenberg beach from the other side of the mountain.
