Plaza Civica

Plaza Civica, also known as Plaza Civica de la Patria, serves as Ensenada’s central square, situated between the waterfront and Federal Highway 1. This open space features a swath of grass and short walking paths, making it a peaceful spot for both locals and visitors. Dominating the plaza is a massive Mexican flag, which waves over statues of key historical figures: Benito Juarez, Miguel Hidalgo, and Venustiano Carranza. Today, visitors can stroll through the plaza, admire the detailed sculptures, and enjoy the serene atmosphere, all while surrounded by the backdrop of the city and the sea.
