Batu Caves

Nestled into limestone hills, the Batu Caves are a significant site in Kuala Lumpur, home to a 154-foot (47-meter) gold statue of Lord Murugan. This UNESCO World Heritage Site comprises four limestone caves: Temple Cave, also known as Cathedral Cave, Dark Cave, Cave Villa, and Ramayana Cave. Visitors can explore the intricate network of caves, each with its own unique features and cultural significance. The area is also well-known for the long-tailed gray macaques that roam freely, adding to the natural and cultural tapestry of the site.
