Mara Triangle

The Mara Triangle, one of two administrative divisions of Kenya’s Maasai Mara National Reserve, encompasses about one-third of the park. This region, home to a rich array of wildlife including elephants, leopards, lions, rhinos, hippos, and buffalo, is less accessible and thus less frequented by visitors compared to the southern sections. The Mara River, which forms part of its border, is a focal point during the annual Great Migration, where thousands of wildebeest cross in a dramatic spectacle. Visitors can experience the raw beauty and untamed wilderness, with opportunities for game viewing and witnessing the natural rhythms of the savanna.
